Who are we?

The Clackmannanshire Ukulele Band (CUBs) is a friendly group of like-minded music enthusiasts who enjoy playing and performing together across Clackmannanshire and the surrounding areas.

While we predominantly play the ukulele, we also welcome a mix of other acoustic instruments such as guitar, bass, percussion to create a warm and well-rounded sound.

We’re not professional musicians, just a community of people who love music, camaraderie, and sharing the joy of playing together. We welcome players of all levels, from beginners to the more experienced, and value the balance that a mix of ages and abilities brings to our group.

CUBs is a non-profit group. We play to bring enjoyment to others, and when donations are offered, we pass them on to a local charity chosen each year.

We love collaborating with community groups, schools, and other music makers to encourage participation and share our passion for the ukulele.

Where and when do we play?

The Band will meet for Rehearsals on a Tuesday night at the Alva Parkland at 7.30pm. As we are a non-profit organisation and to cover our costs, our fees are £12.00 per month by Direct Debit or Standing Order, which ever you prefer. This will cover the cost of the hall and also we provide tea and coffee. At the side of the venue there are plenty of parking spaces. In addition the bus stop is a two minute walk away and on the major routes.
